The views of the three Canyons that comprise the Copper Canyon, make Divisadero ("The Divide") an unforgettable stop on your trip across the mountains, four times larger than the Grand Canyon, visitors have many memorable impressions of this pristine mountain wilderness.
The scenery gradually changes from a dry and relatively flat desert landscape to that of scenic mountains and valleys, as you climb from an elevation of 4,600 feet to more than 8,000 to crest the Sierra Madre Range. You’ll arrive in Divisadero around 12:45 pm, and this railway station is where the exciting descent to the Urique River begins. Here you get the chance to admire the Tararecua, Urique and Del Cobre ravines at the lookout offering impressive panoramic views, also there are horses and jeep transportations to explore the canyon floor.
