Angkor area is one of the most important archeological sites in South East Asia. Built between the 9th and 15th Centuries the site covers more than 400 square kilometres and houses the magnificent remains of the vaious capitals of the Kmer Empire.
The famous Angkor Wat temple lay hidden in the forest until discovered by a french man 150 years ago and is the most preserved of all the temples in the area.
The closest town to the temple is Siem Reap just 6km away.

We wanted to have fun, meet people, learn things, explore, and do stuff we could never do at home. We wanted to travel by anything and everything, and stay anywhere and everywhere!
